General Information

Siirt University Classroom Teaching programme used to offer 2 year programmes In 1976. In 1982, with the Executive Order 41 that entered into force, it became a part of Dicle University Faculty of Education. This programme is intended to produce primary school teachers who know the cognitive, emotional, and psychomotor developments of children aged from 7 to 11; and who can analyse pupils’ capabilities; and who can easily communicate with these pupils.

Our main aims are to:

-       become a leading programme in the field

-       do research and make relevant publications

-       produce teachers who have the ability to think critically

-       produce teachers who are equipped with the latest (social and scientific) knowledge

-       produce teachers who are reformists

-       produce teachers who can find unique solutions to the issues

Programme Profile: The purpose of the programme is to produce professional primary school teachers.

Degree: Those who successfully complete this programme can get a Bachelor’s Degree in Classroom Teaching programme.
